This year Sun Valley Trekking is working in conjunction with The Wild Gift, an Idaho 501 C3 non-profit organization. This is an inspiring and valuable service organization dedicated to facilitating young leaders who work together to develop sustainable communities and promote the stewardship of wild nature. The Yellowstone Ski Traverse will be co-guided by Bob Jonas, founder of both Wild Gift and Sun Valley Trekking. Bob Jonas pioneered this route through the Bechler Canyon in the 1990's and is an exceptional guide and resource in this area. For this reason, we are suggesting a voluntary donation of $300 to the Wild Gift for the oportunity to ski with Bob in this wild and remote landscape this spring.
